Terms of use

These terms govern your use of PINCHED Media — the magazine, PINCHED Stream, playlists, Authentic Stories, the marketplace and the creator tools.

Your account

You must give accurate information when you register and keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account.

One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts, using disposable or programmatically generated email addresses, or registering on behalf of someone else without their permission is a breach of these terms.

Accounts are personal. Editorial and admin roles are granted by PINCHED and may be changed or withdrawn where duties change or terms are breached.

Account integrity and anti-abuse

We operate automated and manual controls against fake accounts, bulk registration, credential stuffing, bot traffic and payment fraud. This includes email verification, rate limits, device and network signals, and review of unusual sign-up patterns.

You must not use scripts, bots, headless browsers, emulators or automation of any kind to create accounts, follow creators, inflate views, tips, reactions or comments, or to manipulate rankings, trending placement or payouts.

Artificially generated engagement, self-purchasing to inflate earnings, and coordinated support activity are grounds for immediate suspension, reversal of earnings and permanent loss of payout eligibility.

We may suspend, restrict, require re-verification of, or permanently close any account we reasonably believe is fraudulent, automated, duplicated or used to abuse other users or creators.

Content protection and unauthorised copying

All content on PINCHED — including free content — is licensed for personal viewing on PINCHED only. You may not download, record, screen-capture, screen-record, rip, mirror, re-upload, resell, syndicate or redistribute any article, image, audio, video, playlist or live session, in whole or in part.

Scraping, crawling for reuse, circumventing paywalls or access controls, extracting media URLs, using download tools or browser extensions, and text-and-data mining for AI training are expressly prohibited without a written licence from PINCHED.

Media is served through short-lived, entitlement-checked links. Attempting to bypass, share, resell or automate those links terminates your access immediately, and we pursue takedowns and legal remedies where content is republished elsewhere.

Sharing is welcome the right way: use the share tools on each page, which link back to PINCHED so the creator is credited and paid.

Content standards

Anything you submit — articles, stories, audio, video, images — must be yours to publish, or licensed to you, and must not be unlawful, hateful, defamatory or invasive of privacy.

Published pieces have a practical length limit so the reading experience stays consistent; the studio shows the limit as you write and long work should be published as a series.

PINCHED reviews submissions editorially. We may decline, edit for style and accuracy, unpublish or remove content that breaches these standards.

Creator publishing and pricing

Creators set the price for paid content and confirm that they hold the rights to sell it. PINCHED retains a platform fee, disclosed in the creator studio before publication.

Payouts are released to the verified payout method on the schedule shown in your revenue dashboard. Chargebacks and refunds are deducted from future payouts.

Purchases and support

Paid content grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access it on PINCHED. It does not transfer copyright or a right to redistribute.

Support subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access for the period already paid for.

Our content and yours

PINCHED editorial content, branding and design are ours. You keep ownership of what you publish and grant PINCHED a licence to host, distribute, promote and display it across our surfaces.

Liability and changes

PINCHED is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the platform.

We may update these terms; material changes are announced on-site before they take effect.
